“There is no greater FRATERNITY—no deeper BROTHERHOOD—than that shared between COMBAT VETERANS.”
- Joe GETHERALL (1967)
OUR MISSION
We preserve the voices of Vietnam veterans and guide them toward reconciliation, transforming pain into remembrance and remembrance into renewal.

OUR VISION
To foster a world where Vietnam veterans find peace in remembrance, healing in return, and strength in sharing—transforming personal trauma into collective understanding and national gratitude.

How We Help
-
Brotherhood & Healing
Healing is strongest among those who share the same path. We center veteran-to-veteran connection, creating trusted, private spaces where participants can speak openly, be understood, and know they are not alone. This brotherhood restores dignity and lifts the weight no one should carry by themselves.
-
Whole-Person Rehabilitation
Invisible wounds touch mind, body, and spirit. Through guided practices—mindfulness, reflection, and physical well-being—veterans learn practical tools to reduce stress, regulate emotions, and rebuild balance. By caring for the whole person—we create the foundation for durable healing and resilience.
-
Therapeutic Fieldwork
The landscapes of Vietnam remain central to recovery. Supported returns to former battlefields and villages invite veterans to face the past with care and structure. With skilled facilitation, painful memories can be transformed into meaning and integrated into a healthier life narrative.

Return and Renewal
“For many veterans, returning to Vietnam is a journey of healing—honoring the fallen, laying down the weight of war, and embracing former enemies as partners in peace and reconciliation.”
What to Expect
Eligibility — The program is open exclusively to combat veterans. Applicants must submit name, unit, and DD-214, along with a formal nomination letter. This process ensures participants share a common foundation of service and sacrifice, which is critical for peer-based healing.
Program Structure — Each deployment is a 12-day immersive therapeutic journey designed to address post-traumatic stress, moral injury, and unresolved combat-related trauma. The structured program fosters psychological processing, emotional regulation, and narrative integration, enabling participants to move toward genuine closure and long-term resilience.
Support and Safety — All travel, lodging, and accommodations are fully provided. Each journey is facilitated by trained veteran peers, program staff, and licensed medical professionals. Clinical oversight ensures continuous risk assessment, crisis intervention capacity, and evidence-informed practices to maximize both safety and therapeutic benefit.
Participation Policy — Participation is limited to combat veterans only. Excluding family members or non-combatants protects the therapeutic integrity of the program, ensuring a safe, contained environment where veterans can confront trauma, share experiences openly, and engage fully in a process of healing, reconciliation, and post-traumatic growth.

For many veterans, the American War in Vietnam is not merely a chapter in history—it remains a deeply personal and emotionally resonant part of their lives. Returning to Vietnam decades later is rarely about tourism; it is a profound pilgrimage of healing, remembrance, and reconciliation. These journeys allow veterans to confront their past, walk the very ground where they once served, and reconnect with comrades who share their memories and burdens. In these sacred moments—marked by reflection and brotherhood—many find the peace and closure they have long sought. What emerges is an enduring bond, strengthened by shared sacrifice, resilience, and the quiet understanding that time does not erase, but can help heal.

Assemble a roster of 20 highly qualified combat veterans who meet the following criteria:
Demonstrated excellence in physical fitness

Each deployment is thoughtfully planned to span twelve days, offering participants the time and space needed for meaningful reflection and connection. This carefully structured schedule balances visits to significant locations with opportunities for quiet introspection, allowing veterans to revisit the places that shaped their service and their lives. The experience is designed to foster healing, encourage camaraderie, and support personal resolution. By creating a respectful and supportive environment, we aim to help each veteran process the past, reconnect with fellow participants, and find renewed peace along the journey.
-
Each itinerary is carefully designed to provide a deeply immersive experience that honors the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. These journeys return you to the very regions where your unit once served, forging a powerful link between past and present. Walking these historic grounds offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with your unit’s legacy—gaining deeper understanding of the landscapes, challenges, and pivotal moments that shaped your service. More than a return—it is a time of reflection, remembrance, and renewed connection with your history and your brothers-in-arms.

To honor the sacrifices of Vietnam veterans, our Connecting Generations initiative selects veterans who served in post-Vietnam conflicts—including Desert Storm, Afghanistan, and Iraq—to serve as escorts for return journeys to Vietnam. This unique program creates a powerful bridge between generations of service members. By fostering shared experiences, mutual understanding, and lasting camaraderie, Connecting Generations builds a supportive environment where stories are passed on, perspectives are deepened, and the legacy of service is carried forward with honor and respect.
-
Each return journey to Vietnam is accompanied by a professional and compassionate team dedicated to supporting you at every stage of this meaningful experience. From arrival to departure, you will be in the care of individuals who understand the significance of your return—many of whom are fellow combat veterans themselves. This team includes experienced medical personnel, logistical coordinators, and in-house production staff, all unified in their commitment to your safety, comfort, and well-being. Their presence is a reflection of our deep respect for your service and the sacrifices you have made. With discretion and professionalism, they ensure that the environment remains one of dignity, support, and quiet reflection.
